Why do I need this medicine?
Cromoglicic acid is used to treat redness and irritation of the eyes due to allergies.
How do I use this medicine?
Use Cromoglicic acid exactly as directed by your doctor or according to the instructions on the label. Do not use more or less than instructed by your doctor.

How to use the eye drop:
  1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before using the eye drop.
  2. Tilt your head slightly backwards and look upwards.
  3. Using your index finger, pull the lower eyelid away from the eye to form a pouch.
  4. Instill the required number of drops inside the lower eyelid.
  5. Blink a few times to spread the solution over your eye.
  6. Close your eye and do not blink for the next 30 seconds.
  7. Wipe any excess solution with a clean tissue.
  8. Repeat process in your other eye.
Do not allow the tip of the dropper of this medicine to touch your eyes, eyelids or any other surface. Recap the eye drop immediately after use. If the eye drop becomes contaminated, it could cause an infection in your eyes.

Do not share your eye drop with anyone else.

Do not switch between different brands or any other ophthalmic medicines unless advised by your doctor.
What should I do if I have forgotten to use this medicine?
Instill the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and return to your normal dosing schedule.

DO NOT double a dose under any circumstances.

If you often forget to apply your medicine, let your doctor and pharmacist know.
What should I take note of while using this medicine?
Let your doctor know if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

If you are wearing soft contact lenses, remove it before using Cromoglicic acid eye drops.
What side effects could I experience?
This medicine may temporarily blur your vision. If affected, do not drive or take part in any activity in which you need to be alert.

Other side effects may include stinging or burning sensation in your eye.

Inform your doctor if any of these side effects do not go away or are severe, or if you experience other side effects.
Can I use this with other medicines?
Always notify your doctor and pharmacist if you are taking any other medicines, including herbal tonics such as traditional Chinese medicine, supplements and medicines that you buy without a prescription.
What special dietary instructions should I follow?
Avoid alcohol.
How should I store this medicine?
Store in a cool, dry place away from the reach of children.

Medicines must not be used past the expiry date.

Do not use 4 weeks after first opening.
